Bruce S. Gallo, Esq., is the Executive Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at Cogency Global. In this position, Mr. Gallo has responsibility over the Product Management and Marketing functions of the company, which are focused on business growth and development, product development and management, marketing communications and strategic initiatives related to the public record search and filing services provided by Cogency Global. Mr. Gallo has extensive experience in the UCC and corporate services industry. Since 1991, he has played a key role in developing numerous online systems that provide a full range of filing and searching products for UCC liens, tax liens and judgment liens in all fifty states and the District of Columbia, as well as entity management systems for the professional registered agent industry. Mr. Gallo was a member of the National Public Records Research Association (NPRRA) Board of Directors from 2003 to 2006, and before that, he participated directly in the Article 9 revision process from 1995 to 2001. Prior to working in the private sector, Mr. Gallo was Corporations Counsel and Director of Corporations in the Office of the Ohio Secretary of State, with responsibility for all processes, statutory compliance, and regulations pertaining to business entity transactions and state trademarks. During this time Mr. Gallo was a member of the state bar association committee that authored the initial cross-entity merger statutes in Ohio.
